Provisioning infrastructure shouldn’t require staging rooms, golden images, or weeks of coordination. Yet for many organizations, that complexity has quietly become accepted as normal.
Provisioner was built to remove that friction.
By combining secure onboarding, automated discovery, and just-in-time configuration into a single workflow, Provisioner turns provisioning into something that feels straightforward and predictable rather than fragile and labor-intensive.
Getting started is intentionally simple. A customer logs into the Provisioner Admin Portal and adds a BootBOX™ to their account using a short six-digit claim code. Once powered on, the BootBOX securely connects to Provisioner and appears in an unclaimed waiting area that is visible only to Provisioner administrators. This controlled onboarding process prevents unauthorized use while keeping setup fast and uncomplicated.
After the claim code is entered, the BootBOX is immediately associated with the customer’s account and moved into their inventory. From that point forward, it operates as a trusted, customer-owned provisioning node that is fully integrated with the Provisioner Management Portal and ready to support device onboarding.
With a BootBOX active, devices require almost no handling. Any bare-metal system powered on within the environment is automatically discovered and placed into the Waiting Room inside the Management Portal. Devices are identified, authenticated, and classified based on their hardware and environment without manual steps or external tracking. This becomes the central point of control, visibility, and decision-making.
From there, the appropriate Provisioner Recipe™ is selected, either by an operator or through automation. A recipe defines exactly how a device should be built, including the operating system, firmware, drivers, applications, credentials, and policies required for its role. This approach replaces static imaging with a more flexible and auditable model that scales cleanly as environments evolve.
Once a recipe is assigned, provisioning proceeds automatically. Provisioner delivers only what the device needs, when it needs it, without maintaining golden images or repeating full re-imaging cycles. Progress is visible in real time through the Management Portal, providing clear insight into what is happening and when a device will be ready.
When provisioning completes, the device exits the process fully built, compliant, and ready for production use. There are no handoffs, no cleanup steps, and no surprises.
What once required dozens of manual actions is reduced to a single, repeatable flow. Devices move from discovery to configuration to readiness without unnecessary complexity. The result is a provisioning experience that finally feels modern, secure, and operationally sane.
Provisioner isn’t just faster.
It’s the easy button provisioning has been missing.
